Conflict

A film that has conflict is Fast & Furious 6 when Letty gets off her car, after she gets hit from the back by Dom, she shoots him in the shoulder because she didn't know him. A conflict from my life is school because i struggle alot and i have to balance everything out so i could have time for school, homework, work and pick up my baby sister from Long Beach. This is a conflict because i sometimes dont have time to do everything. An idea for film that has conflict is when a high school senior  a dad of a high school senior checks the mail and sees that there is an acceptance letter to Harvard University. Her dad ripped the acceptance letter in front of her saying this is not your life, your life is being a housewife.

My Film Job

 I would like to be an editor or/and director. I would have the honor to be a director and an editor because i would like to experience how to direct movies and edit them. I love working with computers and editing involves alot of computer work. I like working with special effects.

My Review of the Elephant Man

What i felt about the movie "The Elephant Man" is that it is an extraordinary film because the black and white made the film more intense also the sounds of machines in the background. It is not like other films that have been made. This film is the reason why they came up with a make-up academy award. Joseph Merrick (elephant man) was a really good person and he was very young (21) for the stage that he was in from his cancer and his syndrome. His deformity is so bad that i felt really bad for him and was thinking how can he put up with that while all the torture from Bytes and criticism. Its sad how Joseph Merrick slept like a normal person at the end of the movie and died because he couldn't sleep like a normal person. Even though Joseph Merrick was treated bad by Bytes, Dr. Fredrick Treves took him and made him a permanent resident of the London Hospital. Joseph Merrick said that he was happy every hour of his life because of what Dr. Treves has done for him.

My Name is John Merrick

I am 21 years old. I am not an elephant... I am a man. My life has gone from being tortured by Mr. Bytes to being taken care of by Dr. Fredrick Treves. Ever since I was a permanent resident at the London Hospital I was very pleased to have been welcomed by my Dr. Fredrick Treves, Mothershead,  and Carr Gonn. They gave me a very sweet and beautiful gift. I loved the gift so much.

Compassionate Science

Compassionate science is important for the people in the future because we have very advance technology that we can use. If i was a compassionate scientists i would help those in need even though i if they do not have money. I would love to do my type of work for free and show the people how to do things.

Welcome To My Nightmare

A scary nightmare that i once had was when i was at the airport getting ready to board on the plane when they were announcing that there was a storm heading our way. i was scared at the point when they announced that. I wanted to get off the plane but i couldn't because my parents had already paid for the ticket. they say nothing is going to happen its just a storm that is all. Once we were up in the air, like 10 minutes later there was a lot of turbulence in the airplane and the pilots were announcing that they are having a little difficulty because they were going through some rain clouds. When they said that i was frightened. Seconds later they announced to buckle our seat belts because one of the engines had failed.  I started crying and panicking because i was saying we're going to die, the airplane is going straight towards the ocean. I past out because of the tragic that was going on but when i passed out the weird thing was that i saw myself. When the airplane crashed in the ocean i woke up from the nightmare and i was crying.

The Future

Technology has been a big part in our time period. People are having a lot of competition now in days to see who invents something better. So my guess in a few years people are going to have flying cars and robots as a house keeper. In the present day we have fast trains, thin curved TVs and even water jet packs. Later on we are most likely going to have phones that are thinner than a pencil and cars that can drive by themselves. We would also probably have floating trains and bicycles that don't have wheels but propellers. My point is that with the technology that we have today is very advance so we pretty much can make anything that we would want except a teleporter. Later on we are going to have a lot more cures for cancer and many other diseases.

One Time I Laughed Real Hard

One time i really laughed hard was when...

umm let me think...???

...was when i was about 13 years old. My uncle had just graduated from high school. The whole family was going out to eat to celebrate his graduation. We took him to Lucilles BBQ, he ordered a big plate full of bbq and chicken tenders. What he didn't know was that we told the chef to cook his food with a lot of vodka. Since my uncle orders a big plate it had a lot of vodka so by the end of the meal he was very drunk. We had asked him what was wrong because he was drowsy and unbalanced. He said that he doesn't feel so good. He had to go to the restroom very badly and when he came out he had wrapped around tissue paper in his underwear because he had pissed his pants. We all started laughing when we saw him because we didn't expect that to happened.

Modern Times Review

Modern Times was a film that was suppose to be silent but chaplin made it a sound movie. The boss's voice from the movie is actually chaplin's voice. I can see that chaplin made the beginning of the movie sci-fi and then changed it to a here and now movie. He did this because he saw that the future was going to be a miserable life but he saw that the life at that time was miserable already. The film was made in 1936, they didn't have big two way interactive screens at the time or feeding machines. The movie had cool special effects like when chaplin goes inside the machine goes through the gears and goes back out crazy. The stunts that chaplin did were actually real he was really doing the things.

My Thoughts On Bullying

My thoughts of bullying is that some kids that are bullying sometimes get emotionally and physically hurt. Some people that have gotten bullied commit suicide because of the pressure. Another example of a cause from bulling is that students miss school because of it, most of the time they keep the situation to themselves. There is not just one type of bulling, there are many ways for example cyber, physical and verbal bullying. Most people bully by calling them names while others bully physically.

Favorite Movie

My favorite movies are Click and The Boy in Striped Pajamas. Click is one of my favorite movies because it is sad but at the end it was just a dream. I can relate to that because i have had a dream like that. The Boy in Striped Pajamas is my other favorite movie because it shows how some kids live like, the boy lives in a "jail" and he is trapped there. He met a friend on the other side of the fence but he can not leave. I connected to the movie because i actually felt the pain the kid was going through and it puts you through emotions like no other movie does.
